Kindred Group’s Unibet announced Thursday it had entered a partnership with the Pittsburgh Steelers to be an official sportsbook partner.

This is the second NFL partnership for Unibet Sportsbook, having announced a similar deal with the Philadelphia Eagles in October 2020.

What’s In The Deal

The PA online gambling partnership will include digital collaboration across social media channels, sweepstakes for fans and local community support.

“We are excited to partner up with one of the most beloved professional sports franchises. With a great history and bright future ahead, the Steelers have incredibly passionate and engaged fans,” Manuel Stan, senior vice president of US Kindred Group, said in a news release. “This is an exciting step in Western Pennsylvania for us. With this partnership, we will continue to grow our share of voice in Pennsylvania, strengthen our connection to local fans and support future launches in neighboring states.”

A Unibet Tailgate zone outside Heinz Field will engage Steelers fans on gamedays with past Steelers legends and will bring an exclusive Steelers-themed PA casino game to its users via the Unibet Pennsylvania casino app later this year.

“We are excited to welcome Unibet to the Steelers family. This partnership will provide brand new opportunities for Steelers Nation, both on gamedays at Heinz Field and throughout the season. We are looking forward to bringing these enhancements to our fans,” said Ryan Huzjak, Steelers’ vice president of sales and marketing.

In addition to both Pennsylvania NFL teams, Unibet has partnerships with the Philadelphia Union (MLS), New Jersey Devils (NHL), NASCAR’s Stewart-Haas Racing and NASCAR driver Kevin Harvick and soccer’s Paris St. Germain, which signed former Barcelona start Lionel Messi to a two-year contract earlier this week.
