Where Pennsylvania’s NFL Teams Rank in Chaos

Well after the 2025 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers certainly added their fair share of drama by bringing in shamanistic gunslinger Aaron Rodgers and pass-catching lightning rod DK Metcalf. The Rodgers story alone generated headlines for weeks. But the AFC North stalwarts failed to crack the NFL’s zany offseason chaos list.

That honor belonged to the reigning Super Bowl champs, as the east side of the state tracks Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl 60 odds for their attempt to repeat as Vince Lombardi Trophy holders.

The Eagles racked up the seventh most points in the league, according to our rankings. with 37. That was tied alongside the club’s NFC East rivals from D.C. and directly behind the Las Vegas Raiders, who scored 38 points in total. Among other moves, Philly released six-time Pro Bowl selection Darius Slay, a cornerback who has since signed with the Steelers.

Leaguewide, agents of gridiron disarray such as the New York Jets and New England Patriots (49 points each) and Dallas Cowboys (47) were among the top teams making the most noise so far in this offseason. Pennsylvania NFL betting customers might want to monitor the shakeout from these teams before wagering in the fall of 2025.

Throw in other long-standing tire fires such as the Jacksonville Jaguars (fourth leaguewide with 44 points) and the Miami Dolphins (fifth, with 40) and you have the NFL’s chaos order sorted. In our weighted measuring system for determining the top 10, we awarded more points for player movement (signing, extensions, trades, etc.) than events in the other categories.

The Rodgers saga might have changed how some fans feel about Pittsburgh Steelers playoff chances but, no matter what, you can keep track of them with us year-round at PennStakes.com.
