Fact Checked by Pat McLoone

Pennsylvania poker players will have an opportunity to match wits and try their luck right at home this summer in “PokerStars Summer Festival.” There’s even some iCasino action thrown in.

Overall, the PokerStars festival is scheduled to run through July 31.

A shared player pool of Michigan-New Jersey poker players will have their own shared pool tournaments.

June’s headline events are Summer Stacks (poker) and Bonus Bonanza (iCasino). PA online casinos are legal.

Bonus Bets Expire in 7 Days. One New Customer Offer Only. Must be 21+ to participate & present in PA. Gambling problem? Call 1-800-GAMBLER. Visit BetMGM.com for Terms & Conditions. US promotional offers not available in NY, NV, or Puerto Rico.

Summer Stacks

Summer Stakes is a slate of 100 poker tournaments for buy-ins of $100 or less over 18 days of the festival, June 9-26.

The Pennsylvania player pool will have its own schedule of tournaments, including a main event.

Action starts in Pennsylvania on June 11 at 6 p.m., with a $100 buy-in, No-limit Hold’em event (the “Summer Special”) with a $70,000 guaranteed prize pool.

On June 18, there’s a $100 buy-in No-limit Hold’em “Deepstack Special.” That has a $65,000 guaranteed prize pool.

For the Pennsylvania main event, the buy-in is $100 and the guaranteed prize pool is $100,000. The event starts June 25 at 6 p.m.

Highlighting that this poker event can have appeal to players with modest bankrolls is that on the same day as the main event, there will be a “mini main” event with a $30 buy-in and a $25,000 guaranteed prize pool. Starting time is 6:30 p.m.

The full schedule can be found on the Pokers Stars blog.

Bonus Bonanza

For iCasino action, the PokerStars Summer Festival is offering its Bonus Bonanza, June 13-19.

Bonus Bonanza offers a total of 100,000 free spins in Pennsylvania.

Might be wise to look for PA casino bonuses while you are in the iCasino space.

To qualify for free spins, customers must wager at least $10 on spins during the week. In doing so, they will have completed the “challenge” for the promotion.

More explanation from PokerStars: “The number of free spins awarded to each player at the end of the week depends on how many players complete the challenge. For example, should only 10,000 players opt in and complete the challenge, then each player in (Pennsylvania) . . . who completes the challenge will win 10 free spins.”

The PokerStars blog — and Pokers Stars PA bonus codes — are all you need for updates with more information on additional Summer Festival happenings and how to bet.
