The latest World Series of Poker tournament series marks a watershed moment for Pennsylvania online poker players.

The WSOP Online Series features 33 events, from Sept. 28 to Nov. 11, with opportunities to win WSOP Gold Bracelets and a portion of a prize pot worth more than $10 million.

But even more exciting for players, this is the first major WSOP event in which the Keystone State participates in shared, or pooled, liquidity with other states. What does that mean? It means that Pennsylvanians can compete directly with players from Michigan, Nevada and New Jersey thanks to an agreement signed by Gov. Josh Shapiro this year.

WSOP Players In Pennsylvania Are All In

As of late April, Pennsylvania online casinos players now live in largest state in the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement. The pact, also known as MSIGA, means that players in states where online poker is legal can vie for bigger prizes because, with all of those states combined, there are more participants. The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has estimated that 150,000 people in Pennsylvania play online poker. In addition to New Jersey, Nevada and Michigan (and now PA), Delaware and West Virginia also belong to MSIGA.

That agreement came too late for Pennsylvanians to get in on the ground floor of the lead-up to the 2025 WSOP Main Event, which concluded with an in-person tournament in Las Vegas in July. But now players can use the WSOP Pennsylvania promo code and sign up for the fall series of 2025 WSOP online Gold Bracelet events, where buy-ins range from $333 to $3,200.

More About WSOP Online Fall Schedule

This is the first time that the WSOP fall schedule will be conducted under complete shared liquidity involving this many states.

According to Caesars, each bracelet and circuit ring winner will not only earn winnings from that tournament, but also will receive a WSOP Paradise package worth $5,000. The WSOP Paradise event is scheduled for Dec. 4-18 at Atlantis Paradise Island in The Bahamas.

Caesars Entertainment – the entity that offers Caesars Palace PA online casinos – owns and operates WSOP Online.

This new era for online poker players in PA comes at a time when the market is at a strong, mature place. Revenues and handles have risen steadily in Pennsylvania for both online casinos and sports wagering since those markets launched in 2018.

The state made about $3.96 million in taxes from online poker in the 2024-25 fiscal year (from July 2024 to June 2025) from a handle, or rake, of nearly $29.1 million. That was a slight increase over FY 2023-24, when the rake was $28.95 million and the state collected $3.92 million in taxes from online poker.

The full schedule of World Series of Poker events coming this autumn is at the WSOP online website.
