The month of March means Madness to fans of college basketball and Pennsylvania sports betting.

After Selection Sunday, many across the Keystone State will be filling out brackets, depositing money into their gambling accounts, requesting days off from work and preparing for the first round of games, which start at noon Thursday, March 17.

Parx Sportsbook (Bensalem, Malvern)

Watch and wager on all the games here. From March 17-28 between 12-4 p.m., nearby Chickie’s & Pete’s will have an all-you-can-eat menu for $47.99, featuring Budweiser and Bud Light specials, crab fries, roast pork sandwiches, Philly cheesesteaks, nachos and more. Parx earlier this year opened its sportsbook at Malvern’s Chickie’s and Pete’s. It is believed to be the first sportsbook at a standalone restaurant in the nation.

Rivers Casino Philadelphia

BetRivers Sportsbook will feature college basketball jersey drawings during the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. Guests who place wagers of $50 or more on college basketball will be entered into drawings to win old-school NCAA jerseys. Philadelphia 76ers fans will have their eyes on James Harden’s Arizona State jersey, which will be highlighted March 18. Other jersey drawings will be on:

Every tournament game will be televised on the casino’s 56.5-foot wide by 10.5-foot-high LED central monitor and on dozens of screens throughout the casino. Guests can place bets at more than 30 self-service kiosks located throughout the casino, as well as at the sportsbook’s six live teller windows. The sportsbook also will feature $5 draft green beer and $4 Guinness bottles on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17.

  • March Mania Viewing Party: On March 17-18, guests interested in attending a free viewing event should head to The Event Center for an opportunity to watch all games on one of the four big screens. Self-service betting kiosks will be available and concessions are available for purchase. Event seating is available on a first come, first served basis. Valley Forge Casino Resort

The casino is partnering with its retail sportsbook, FanDuel, for a special promotion — any members in their rewards program, B-Connected, who bet on a March Madness game and experience a net loss on their bet slip can enter a drawing for the chance to win back up to 100% of the loss.

The promotion begins March 17 at 10 a.m. and ends March 28 at 11:59 p.m. All winners then will be chosen at random March 31. Winners must claim their prize at the casino’s cage during normal operating hours within 15 days of being notified.
