It’s hard to believe but we’re already speeding towards the midway point of the NFL regular season, with five weeks in the rearview mirror and Week 6 approaching by the hour across the gridirons of the league and those interested in Pennsylvania sports betting.
Each week, another NFL quarterback shines on the sport’s brightest stage, with household names like Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs, Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills and Kirk Cousins of the Minnesota Vikings being joined by up-and-coming signal-callers like Tua Tagovailoa of the Miami Dolphins and CJ Stroud of the Houston Texans.
Every Wednesday, PennStakes.com releases hypothetical odds on which QB will lead the league in fantasy points (standard scoring) this week. Here’s who we see as the top options at QB1 for Week 6 of the NFL regular season:
Keep tabs for weekly updates, as well as tracking the Eagles Playoff Chances.
It’s hard to go against one of the NFL’s premier downfield specialists, with Allen averaging 281.4 passing yards per game (up from 267.7 in 2022-23) for the Bills through the team’s first five games of the season. That’s why we have Allen as our No. 1 choice to score the most fantasy points among NFL quarterbacks in Week 6, with the former Wyoming Cowboy listed at +400 (20%), ranking just ahead of reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes (+475) on our list.
Mahomes has been stellar as well for the Chiefs this season, averaging 257.4 YPG through the air with a 2.5:1 touchdown-to-interception ratio through five games with Kansas City this year, while also averaging a career high 6.7 yards per carry.
Other names to keep an eye on this week include Tagovailoa, who is listed at +600 (14.3%) to be the No. 1 fantasy QB in Week 6, Cousins (+750) and Jared Goff of the Detroit Lions, who comes in at +850 to be QB1, fantasy points wise.
