Top Two Still on Steelers Roster

Interest in the Steelers is always evident on PA sports betting appsThe Steelers have a passionate and knowledgeable fanbase.

Heading into next season, the Steelers aren’t that highly regarded at BetRivers PA, which lists them at +3500 to win the AFC, 12th in the conference. Wouldn’t be the first time the Steelers are underestimated.

Heading our Mount Rushmore is a veteran of the squad, defensive end Cameron Hayward (111 approximate value during decade). He has played in Pittsburgh since 2014 and was this season was named the 2023 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award. Heyward has played in 194 career games, recording 404 solo tackles with 80.5 sacks and eight forced fumbles. Hayward is also a six-time Pro Bowl selection and a three-time All-Pro.

Outside linebacker T.J. Watt (91 approx. value) has been in the Steel City for the last seven seasons since 2017 and is one of the most-feared defensive players in the league. The six-time Pro Bowler and four-time All-Pro selection has played in 104 career games with 291 solo tackles, 96.5 sacks and 27 forced fumbles.

Watt is tied for third with the San Francisco 49ers’ Nick Bosa at Caesars Sportsbook PA for the Defensive Player of the Year award. In 2021, Watt swept three Defensive Player of the Year Awards by the Associated Press (AP), Professional Football Writers Association (PFWA) and the Sporting News (SN).

Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (88 AV) played 18 seasons in Pittsburgh before retiring after the 2021 season. The two-time Super Bowl champion completed 5,440 of 8,443 passes (64.4%), for 64,088 yards with 418 touchdowns and 211 interceptions in his career. He was also a six-time Pro Bowler and the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2004.

Guard David DeCastro (73 approx. value) played nine seasons for the Steelers and was a two-time first-team All-Pro and a six-time Pro Bowler.
